This Week’s Adventures: We drip with learning as we explore aquatic habitats! The wetlands, stream, and vernal pools are our playground! (Okay, not really – we try very hard not to harm any creatures!) We examine life in wet places and find toads, green frogs, tadpoles, dragonfly nymphs, crayfish…and well, you get the picture! We practice letter “Ww” for water and world.
Next’s Week’s Theme: Summer on the Way (focus on letter “Kk”)
Try this at Home: Visit an aquatic habitat! It may be closer than you think. Gently lift rocks to find creatures, but always place them back just as you found them. Create drawings of the plants and animals you find. What other non-living things are there?
