This Week’s Adventures: We were really making tracks learning all about the shapes of different animals’ feet.
Favorite Activities: We loved stamping animal tracks on artwork and narrating stories about these animals. We examined deer hides, antlers, and feet. We searched for (and created our own!) animal tracks on the trail and in our natural journals. We used our own hands and feet to create deer, too.
Next’s Week’s Theme: Art Outisde
Try this at Home: Take a winter nature walk in your yard or local park. Count the tracks you find. Compare bigger and smaller tracks. Follow them to see where this animal was heading!
