This Week’s Adventures: We learned about mammals, especially bats!
Favorite Activities: We loved comparing bat taxidermy to a blue jay to discover the differences between the two. We were able to make some unusual predictions as we read Stella Luna by Jannel Cannon. Cutting our bat ears and wings was a highlight! Of course, we also loved searching for bat roosts on the trail, listing mammals in the forest, and making our own bat cave!
