This Week’s Adventures: We learned about the magic of moonlit nights when nocturnal animals are on the prowl. And to top it off, we had our field trip to the pumpkin patch! (Perhaps some of those pumpkins will become jack-o-lanterns to make the night glow?)
Favorite Activities: We discovered the many shapes a moon can be. We had a dimly lit story time and guided imagery to learn about nocturnal animals and searched for signs of night creatures. Letter “Mm” was for moon, magic, and much more!
Next’s Week’s Theme: Bones and Bodies
Try this at home: Look up at the moon. What shape do you see? Make a chalk drawing on black paper to show the moon, stars, and clouds in the sky.
