SEEDS: Swap, Prepare and Stratify – SOLD OUT

Celebrate National Seed Swap Day at Irvine. Learn how to process the different seed types, how to tell if a seed is viable and what it takes to make sometimes-fussy native seeds germinate. Native plant seeds collected at Irvine and other locally sourced seeds will be available at the swap. If you have any native plant seeds you’re willing to swap, bring them along. We will prepare any seeds that require scarification or stratification so they will be ready for spring sowing. This program is intended for adults. All are welcome.
