Pawpaws are one of the jewels of the foraging calendar and well worth hunting for. Find out why the largest fruit on the East Coast is rarely available to buy despite their unique tropical flavor. Take a hike to explore the season’s bounty at Irvine during one of the best times of the year to forage. Then discuss ways to harvest, prepare and preserve the many fall foods now available to ensure maximum flavor.
