Throughout history, wild spring greens have been used as both medicine and an important source of nutrients. Many of the first plants to grow in spring are ones brought to America for their medicinal value, but now considered weeds and can be harvested in quantity. We will discuss and ID which greens can be collected and how to make tasty spring salads and pestos using foraged nuts or infused into oil for medicinal salves. Recipes will be demonstrated (with optional tasting). This program is intended for Adults.
