This workshop will cover a simple no-dig way to prepare a garden for planting in the spring and recommended native pollinator plants – even for those with deer and clay soils. Discover the importance of providing fall nectar sources and the right winter habitat. Tour some of Irvine’s gardens, then practice dividing plants and seed collection as cost saving ways to get plants. Take home some plants and seeds to get your garden started and a garden design.
