Are you an early bird, looking to start your day in nature? With our NEW Early Bird Wednesdays, Irvine members are invited to gain early access to the 211-acre property and experience the sights and sounds before we open to the public.
Come observe the early morning activity of Irvine’s abundant bird life and witness these wonderful creatures during ideal birding conditions. With over 190 species, Irvine is known as a top birding hotspot in the Maryland Piedmont. Not sure what you’re looking for? Check out the bird identification cards in Irvine’s two bird blinds.
Use the time to walk the trails; Irvine maintains 8+ miles of paths winding through the forests, meadows, and wetlands, always changing with the seasons.
Come and relax at the therapeutic herb garden alone or with a friend. Bring a book, practice meditation, enjoy a cup of tea!
We invite you to wander the Woodland Garden and discover all of the native plants that are thriving in this protected space.
