June’s Volunteer(s) of the Month are the incredible Spring 2017 Naturalist Interns!
Kelsey Stave, Brittni Rice, Valerie Lannen, Alison Anderson and John lehman are sensational volunteers that have worked diligently to make programs run smoothly and did lots of behind-the scenes preparation.
Irvine’s Manager of School Programs and Urban Education/ Naturalist, Katie Roof stated, “They were all unqiue and together made a perfect team. Through monitoring kestrel boxes, going on solo outreaches, leading and greeting field trips, helping train and do health checks on our animals, we definitely couldn’t have succeeded”.
These Naturalist Interns combined gave over 1200 hours of volunteer service since January 2017! They each came in with a smile everyday and did their best to make sure Irvine delivered amazing programs.
Congratulations Naturalist Interns! Thank you for your dedication and committment to Irvine!
