January’s Volunteer of the Month is the sensational Shannon Biggers!
Shannon is a student at Stevenson University and she volunteers with The Nature Preschool. Shannon has volunteered outside of her regular hours to attend and assist with preschool events when extra hands are needed. she has also showed tremendous interest in developing her relationships with the children while working on how to better assist the teachers in their roles.
The Nature Preschool Director, Karen Madigan said “I believe Shannon deserves this honor because she has been able to overcome some of her shyness to advocate for herself. She has asked for more time working with the students and has begun to feel more comfortable facilitating play and conversation with the children, and is working her way up to leading circle time. The children LOVE her!”
