August’s Volunteer of the Month is the sensational Fran Flanigan!
Fran Flanigan is an incredible volunteer who is an Irvine Nature Center Trustee! Fran has been very involved in many of the aspects that have made Irvine what it is today.
Irvine’s Executive Director, Brooks Paternotte stated “She is very engaged. She never misses a meeting and she is taking advantage of board engagement opportunities such as observing different Irvine programs”.
Irvine’s Director of Operations, Courtney Sagal said, “I cannot think of anyone more deserving of this award than Fran. Throughout my ten years at Irvine, Fran has been a guiding force and is always pushing staff, trustees and volunteers to go the extra mile to engage the community and spread the word about important environmental issues. Her passion and drive is contagious- a true role model for many. I have learned so much from Fran and am so grateful for her unrelenting efforts at Irvine”.
Fran has volunteered her time for Irvine during all hours of the day and has shown her commitment to Irvine on several occasions.
