Even as the seasons change, there are always new things to explore at Irvine Nature Center. This past fall, hundreds of school children got to spend many fun-filled mornings appreciating and observing the signs of the season.
Getting outside is just the beginning! Students participated in numerous activities along the trails, including get up close and personal with fallen logs, sweep-netting for insects in the meadow, and dancing like the beautifully colored leaves that fell around them.
Below are some photos highlighting some of the incredible discoveries students made while on our Sensational Seasons school field trip. With spring just around the corner, the excitement grows for what new discoveries will be made while exploring the new season!
