It’s the time of year to be thankful and one thing I’m thankful for year after year is Tellabration!, a nationwide storytelling festival.
The Baltimore Folk Music Society organizes tellers, music, and craft vendors for a fun filled family event. For the third year in a row, the event will be held at Irvine Nature Center and we are excited to hear stories about Strong Women – this year’s theme.

From Rachel Carson to Jane Goodall, the modern conservation movement has been greatly shaped by the efforts and passions of strong women. Be sure to stop by on Sunday, November 23rd to hear more inspiring tales! A children’s story and animal encounter room will be open from 2:30-4:30pm. Check out these photos from previous years!
