Now that Spring is here, Eco-Explorers is in high gear with new fun themes and activities! In Water, Water, Everywhere students delve in the chemistry of water through hands-on experiments and games. One activity includes boat making from recyclable materials to learn about density. Students had fun testing the strength of their boats with marbles! Another fun theme for the older kids is Nature Photography! Students use digital cameras to capture beautiful wildlife photos and make a photo book to take home. Whether they are taking photos of trees, bugs, or grass, nature photography is a great way for students to express themselves artistically while getting a closer look at nature’s wonders.
Eco-Explorers will continue enjoying these fun themes until school’s out for the summer!
