Dear Friends of Irvine,
As we near the 12th anniversary of September 11th : we are reminded of how important it is to lend a helping hand to our fellow neighbors. In accordance with the Obama Administration’s National Day of Service & Remembrance, please join your friends and the staff at Irvine Nature Center for our 1st Annual Volunteer Day of Service: A Day to Give Back on Wednesday, September 11, 2013 from 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
Both individuals and groups are encouraged to volunteer on the property of Irvine Nature Center. There will be different volunteer projects taking place throughout the morning, both indoors and out. In the case of rain, the event will be postponed.
A light breakfast will be served at 9:15 a.m. in the Irvine parking lot.
