Irvine is glad to announce our newest professional development course for middle school Baltimore City School teachers, Hands-On Environmental Investigations. After completing the course teachers will be trained in 5 mini-units; Natural Resources, Water Quality Investigations, Diversity of an Ecosystem, Population Connections, and Rocks and Minerals. Each mini-unit contains an array of hands-on activities, research investigations, field-experiences, and active simulation games. Teachers who complete this course will receive 1 AU, and will be eligible to borrow Irvine Teacher Loan Kits as they are developed. The kits contain all of the lessons and materials needed to complete the 5 units!
