The Eco-Explorers after school club held its’ first Winter Family Event and what a success it was! Despite the cold and the icy rain, many families came out to participate. Families enjoyed nature crafts, fun games, animal encounters, and yummy hot chocolate and cookies. In addition to the fun, this event was a great opportunity for parents to meet their child’s Eco-leaders, and to learn more about Irvine Nature Center.
As the winter sessions of Eco-Explorers are coming to an end, many students are excited to be returning for the Spring session. The warmer weather will bring more nature exploration, new engaging themes, and another Family Eco-Event! See you there!
