Summer is a new season, and with each new season we see wonderful changes in nature. Summer at Irvine Nature Center means Summer Nature Camp and camp brings many new faces to our trails.
Check out our blog weekly to get to know some of your Summer Nature Camp Counselors. These are the fun, energetic leaders that make Irvine’s camps the BEST in Baltimore County!
This week features some of the wonderful counselors who will be leading Sprouts (age 4) and Discovery (ages 5-6) camps in July. There are only a few spots left for these camps, so be sure to register today!
Discovery Camps will be made extra exciting this year with the addition of Irvine’s Butterfly House. The Butterfly House will allow kids to experience free flying butterflies and explore the life of a caterpillar! Caterpillar Crazy campers will be the first guests to be immersed in this new exhibit.

Sprouts is for 4 year olds only! These campers will get the special attention they need as they join in trail activities and make crafts designed just for them. As always, the campers will have lots of fun with the freedom to PLAY in nature!
