Eco-Explorers at Sparks Elementary had a blast doing the Aqua Adventures Summer Camp last week! The summer camp was held at the school, and was a combination of activities and games from Eco-Explorers as well as typical fun summer camp activities. Behind Sparks Elementary there is a beautiful stream, where we caught crayfish, minnows, and macroinvertebrates all week! Students had fun learning about this habitat and exploring it with splashes and mud covered faces. Other activities included shaving cream cloud experiments, animal encounters, tin foil boat making, and of course the game Migration. At the end of the week, students were muddy, tired, and ready for more Eco-Explorers fun in the Fall!
