The last two weeks The Nature Preschool at Irvine has celebrated spring! For Earth day we visited Pearlstone Farm! We planted our seedlings we stared here at Irvine, saw baby goats and chickens! We read the Lorax and planted trees on our property as well!
Colors of spring are popping up everywhere! Especially in our Woodland Garden. The children went on a color hunt, but remembered to tread very carefully! Our Woodland Garden has several very special plants native to Maryland! They are very important to help life thrive in our area! How do flowers and plants help promote life?
The gorgeous spring mornings brought us a very special gift this week! The gift of starting class outside! The upstairs and downstairs classroom joined together in the outdoor classroom for imagination stations! There the children painted rainbow rocks for our garden, made fairies and fairy terrariums, wrapped fairy wands, worked in our journals and got to know each other better through imaginative play!
Mr. Danny did a marionette show in the Woodland Garden for all the classes! Check out all the fun we had below!
