This #GivingTuesday it’s all about the animals! Animals are an integral part of Irvine’s environmental education program. Did you know that the staff and volunteers at Irvine Nature Center care for over 50 resident animals, including raptors, reptiles, amphibians, and a few mammals? Each animal is here as a result of injury, illness, or human intervention. Each has a story, and their stories help Irvine’s naturalists and educators teach both children and adults about the impact that human development can have on native animal species. Irvine’s resident animals make the BEST TEACHERS!
On this #GivingTuesday, we are hoping to raise $5,000 to help Irvine care for our animal ambassadors. Contributions will help cover expenses for food, cleaning supplies, medicine, veterinary care, bedding, heating and lighting.
Your gift will make a big difference in the lives of these special residents at Irvine. Thank you for your support.
