YardMap is a citizen science project designed to cultivate a richer understanding of bird habitat, for both professional scientists and people concerned with their local environments. By studying the school grounds students can create a detailed map of all of the school ground features, from pavement to trees. This is an awesome way to combine geography and environmental science!
