December’s Volunteer of the Month is the amazing Benjamin (Ben) Wanaselja!
Ben is a student at Stevenson University and he volunteers for our Facilities and Maintenance team. Ben has volunteered during the work week, on weekends and for specials events at Irvine including Pumpkins on the Green and Pumpkinfest.
Irvine’s Director of Operations Courtney Sagal Said “He was absolutely amazing during the setup for Pumpkins on the Green and Pumpkinfest. He was so patient, always lending a helping hand. Even during the most tedious tasks, he has a smile and is willing to work until the job is done correctly!” Ben is a sensational volunteer and without his skills and commitment to Irvine, our nature center would not be the same.
