Fall is here and the staff at Irvine Nature Center are excited to celebrate our 35th annual Pumpkinfest Fall Family Celebration on Saturday, October 12th from 12:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. We’re partnering with the Baltimore Ravens to make this year’s Pumpkinfest extra-fun. It’s one of our favorite events of the year and we hope that you and your family will join us!
What’s in store this year? We’ll have our pumpkin patch where your kiddos can pick their favorite for painting activities; pony rides from High Ridge Farm; visits from Poe, the Raven’s mascot; crafts and games facilitated by Irvine’s own Naturalists and Educators; alpacas from Alpaca Joy of Maryland; face painting from the artists at Paint for the People; juggling performances from Michael Rosman; and of course, hay rides for the whole family across Irvine’s property. Our friends from Today’s 101.9 will also be broadcasting live from Pumpkinfest from 1:00pm – 3:00pm, so be sure to visit their booth for fun prizes! We’ll finish out the day with a campfire and s’mores roasting session in our Outdoor Amphitheater.
All of the activities above — plus access to our Outdoor Classroom and hiking trails — are included in your ticket price and kiddos under age 2 can enjoy Pumpkinfest free of charge.
